Charter boat fishing the Indian River Lagoon will be an adventure you will not soon forget. Experience the thrill of game fishing with Capt. George Gozdz, your United States Coast Guard Licensed Master Captain. George also hosts the national Television show “Reel Time Florida Sportsman”.
With warmer temps recently the snook bite has been on fire! Plenty off bait has been available and Friday we released over 40 snook on a half day trip. Temps are expected to cool off this week but hopefully the bite remains strong in our area. I suspect the pompano and trout fishing will improve with the colder conditions. Good numbers off sails have been seen recently and calm conditions between fronts will allow us to poke outside and tangle with these hungry predators. I'm looking forward to the cobia showing as well.
A quick report to let everyone know that the Stuart, Florida area snook bite is hot. Live pilchards have been the hot bait. Keeper and over slot fish have been the norm. I'm booked most of March but do have some openings in April. Call/ text/ or email me for a trip.
The mullet run is over and the weather is changing in Florida as we progress into the fall fishing patterns. Snook fishing still will dominate most of our trips but other opportunities are available. As the water cools trout fishing on the east and west banks of the Indian River heats up. Pompano will push in to the river with the first cold front. If you've never tussled with one they're a blast to catch. Offshore the sail fishing will get better and better. If weather conditions allow we can run out and slow troll live baits. I've begun filming for the 2015 season of Reel Time but have plenty of open days available. Call, text, or email me for a trip of a lifetime. -Capt.George
